It’s so easy to create a video from a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation. With YouTube becoming an SEO powerhouse, why not create a simple presentation to accompany your press release (including facts and figures about your story, still photos, quotes, etc.–all the stuff you’d normally include in a PowerPoint), turn it into a video, and distribute along with your SEO press releases?

Most of the big SEO news release distribution services allow you to link to or embed videos nowadays. This gives you yet another way to make it easier for reporters to cover you and easier to build quality backlinks for Google.

Here’s an example of a Keynote presentation we exported as a video:

Then we wrote a video description that contained two live links back to FreelancePR.com. These “dofollow,” high-Pagerank links are very helpful for SEO purposes.

The two main presentation applications–Apple’s Keynote and Microsoft’s PowerPoint–both give you the ability to record a narration, add transition effects, and even add music. Best of all, both make it easy to export presentations as videos. So there’s no excuse to miss out on this valuable SEO opportunity.
